Appendix A. Command Reference for Cisco MPLS Traffic Engineering and RSVP

This appendix provides a command reference for Multiprotocol Label Switching Traffic Engineering (MPLS TE) and the Resource Reservation Protocol (RSVP). Chapter 4, "Cisco MPLS Traffic Engineering," illustrates some of these commands but does not provide an exhaustive command enumeration to facilitate presentation of Cisco MPLS TE. This appendix groups MPLS TE and RSVP commands separately. The command sequence follows the logical steps that you are likely to follow for the configuration and operation of Cisco MPLS TE. The tables do not illustrate the complete syntax for the show and debugcommands. You can get further command details in the Cisco IOS documentation.

The upcoming command lists intentionally exclude Generalized MPLS (GMPLS) and per-flow RSVP-specific commands. Those topics are beyond the scope of this book.
